The conference will focus on the research and development of materials research and device applications in organic photonics, electronics, nonlinear optics and electro-optics, including fundamental theories, materials science and engineering, devices, and subsystem development. With the development and spread of information technology in recent years, Industry 4.0 (Germany) and Society 5.0 (Japan) that highly integrates cyber space and physical space have been proposed as science and technology policies, and efforts are being made worldwide to create the next-generation human-centric society using information and communications technology, sensor technology and IoT (Internet of Things) technology. For that purpose, it is essential to share global research results for the practical application of flexible electronics devices, sensor devices, energy conversion devices, photovoltaic devices, display devices, ultra-high speed and low-power-consumption information processing / optical communication devices, terahertz devices, etc. as well as those on fundamental understanding.
